Located in the heart of the Novus Innovation Corridor and adjacent to the Arizona State University Campus near Rural Road and University Drive, Novus Place is the third phase in the development of the Novus Innovation Corridor. In addition to 777 Tower, Novus Place includes a 318-unit apartment complex called Piedmont, a 260-key, dual-branded Hyatt House and Hyatt Place and the shopping, dining and entertainment district.
While the restaurants are located so close to ASU, the project’s master developer, Catellus Development Corp., and the restaurant owners expect the eateries will be frequented by more than just college students.
“The way Novus Place is positioned, it’s really in the center of the Valley,” Sean Whiskeman, senior vice president of development at Catellus, told the Business Journal. “It’s a tremendous meeting spot for people that are coming from different parts. You can easily connect into downtown Tempe, into Novus, and that’s what we’re hoping for…”
